Audiologist Per Diem

Audiology Services

The Audiologist Per Diem will:

  1. Assess and diagnose dysfunction in hearing, auditory function, balance, and related disorders.
  2. Provide audiologic (re)habilitation through a comprehensive program of therapeutic services, devices, counseling, and other management strategies.
  3. Select, fit, and dispense hearing aids and other hearing assistive devices.
  4. Conduct assessment and follow-up services for persons with cochlear implants.
  5. Provide care to patients of all age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
  6. Communicate and collaborate closely with Medical Staff and other healthcare professionals.
  7. Participate in clinical education programs and departmental development in assigned areas.
  8. Practice in accordance with professional ethics and the New Jersey State Practice Act.
Requirements:
  1. Master's degree or Doctorate Degree in Audiology from an accredited college or university (CAA).
  2. Completion of a nine-month clinical internship under supervision, unless in an exempt setting; ASHA CCC-A preferred but not required; internship applies only to master's degree applicants.
  3. Current New Jersey State license and registration in Audiology or eligibility.
  4. New Jersey State Hearing Aid Dispensing license preferred but not necessary.
  5. Previous experience is preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome.
  6. BLS Certification as approved by the American Heart Association.
Salary Range:

$60.00 per hour

We offer competitive rates influenced by work experience, internal equity, and market data. Some positions may include additional pay for clinical certification and shift differentials.
