The clinical Audiologist is responsible for providing direct audiological services to patients of all age groups, including diagnostic testing, counseling, and rehabilitation. These services are primarily offered in the outpatient setting, with inpatient services as needed. This is a part-time, per diem position with hours that may vary up to 40 hours per week. Travel to affiliate locations may be required.
Master's Degree or Clinical Doctorate in Audiology. Must have either a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) or certification from the American Board of Audiology (ABA). Must possess or be eligible for current state licensure in Audiology. Certain positions may also require a Hearing Aid Dispensing License. Certifications must be maintained throughout employment.
Some experience in a medical setting is preferred.
