Job summary

Interim Healthcare Staffing is seeking an audiologist for a part-time assignment in the Woodbury area. The role includes evaluating patients, performing specialized audiological tests, and collaborating with physicians to establish effective referral pathways.

The position runs Tuesday through Thursday with daytime hours. We offer growth through ongoing education, diverse clinical settings, and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Must hold a clinical doctorate in audiology from an accredited program.
• Must possess or maintain a Minnesota audiology license or a temporary license.
• At least one year of experience working as an audiologist.
• Must possess and maintain licensure or registration to dispense hearing aids in Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations for children and adults.
• Conduct neonatal ABR testing, impedance audiometry and other diagnostic tests.
• Evaluate amplification needs and coordinate with physicians for referrals.
• Train support staff on earmold impressions and tympanometry; assist in audiology protocols.

Schedule/Shifts: Part-Time, Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm.

Location: Specialty clinic in Woodbury, MN.

Pay rate: Up to $75/hour depending on experience.

Assignment: Temporary assignment expected to start July 6 2026 and will last through November 2026.

What we ask of you:

• Basic and complex audiological evaluation including pure tone air conduction, bone conduction and speech testing, skills with both children and adults.
• Clinical impedance audiometry, special diagnostic testing for site of lesion, malingering and other diagnostic problems.
• Neonatal testing, ABR testing and ENG testing, evaluation in specialty area of audiology such as APD and TRT.
• Evaluate patient’s need for amplification with appropriate audiological testing and appraisal of patient’s hearing requirements.
• Work with manufacturers to establish a cost‑effective hearing aid program and collaborate with physicians to set up an effective referral process for audiological evaluation.
• Train support staff to take earmold impressions, make minor repairs, and provide training to nurses/technicians doing hearing screenings and tympanometry.
• Assist in the development of protocols in the Audiology Department and serve as a resource to other departments when audiology perspective is needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

What we require of you:

• Must possess a clinical doctorate in audiology from an accredited university program.
• Must possess or maintain a current Minnesota audiology license, or a current Minnesota temporary audiology license.
• At least one year of experience working as an audiologist.
• Must possess and maintain licensure or registration that allows dispensing of hearing aids within the state of Minnesota.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including appropriate use of English grammar and spelling.
• Demonstrated ability to function with multiple priorities and interruptions.
• Strong leadership and problem‑solving skills, ability to interact with patients and staff in a courteous manner.
