Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a licensed Audiologist for our Outpatient Rehab department in Fall River, MA. The role includes hearing evaluations for children and adults and hearing aid evaluations/fittings, under the supervision of the Rehabilitation Services leadership.

A Masters in Audiology and MA licensure are required, with CCC-A certification preferred. We offer a $1,200 new hire sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• Master's degree in Audiology required.
• CCC-A certification required.
• Current MA licensure in Audiology required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under direction of the assigned Team Leader, perform diversified patient care within the Rehabilitation Services Department.
• Provide hearing evaluations for children and adults and related audiology services.
• Assist in hearing aid evaluations and fittings as needed.
• Maintain compliance with licensure and hospital policies.

Services:

• Hearing evaluations for children and adults.
• Hearing Aid evaluations and fittings
• Video nystagmography Evaluations
• Central Auditory Processing Evaluations

*$1,200 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)*

Hours: 24hrs - Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays 8:30 to 5:00pm OR 8:00-4:30pm

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

• A Masters Degree in Audiology is required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association is required.
• Current Massachusetts License in Audiology is required.
• One (1) year of experience is preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
