Job summary

Hear Wright, Inc is looking for a Hearing Aid Specialist or Audiologist to join our Duluth, MN team. This full-time in-office position offers a competitive salary of $60k to $85k based on credentials and uncapped commission. Responsibilities include providing hearing care, engaging in community outreach, and supporting Telehealth initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a valid Hearing Aid Dispensing License or Audiology License and at least two years of hearing aid sales experience. Join us to make a life-changing difference in the lives of our clients.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years Hearing Aid sales experience or equivalent industry training under a licensed HIS or AuD.

Responsibilities

  • Perform checks on hearing aids and conduct repairs.
  • Achieve practice growth while maintaining ethical standards.
  • Engage in local community outreach activities.
  • Counsel patients on hearing aids and payment methods.
  • Support Telehealth initiatives for patient care.
  • Maintain continuing education requirements.
  • Operate audiometric equipment and interpret results.

We are looking to add an Hearing Aid Specialist or Audiologist to join our team in Duluth, MN!

Pay

60k-85k salary based on license type and credentials + 6% uncapped commission on any sales.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care and aftercare of dispensing services such as hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, educate and train hearing aid users of best practices.
  • Perform checks on hearing aids and other amplification devices. This includes but is not limited to troubleshooting, conducting repairs to hearing aids, earmolds and cleaning of hearing aids.
  • Achieve practice growth with a strong mindset on sales and key business metrics while maintaining ethical practice standards.
  • Local community outreach including health fairs and developing physician relationships. You represent HearingLife as an advocate to making a life‑changing difference.
  • Counsel patients on the purchase of their hearing aids, devices, and accessories. Maintain a current understanding of third‑party payors and various payment methods in accordance with federal and state laws.
  • Understand and meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly clinical finance targets working closely with your PCC and Manager to achieve clinic’s financial KPIs.
  • Support Telehealth initiatives (Remote Care) to expand patient care and product portfolio including but not limited to conducting hearing tests, coaching and educating patients on hearing aid devices.
  • Maintain continuing education requirements based on state requirements.
  • Ability to operate audiometric equipment and interpret the results.
  • Ability to communicate test results and propose treatment in a manner easily understood by patients. Communication is key.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
