Job summary

HearingLife is seeking an Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist to join our team in the United States. The role focuses on diagnosing and treating hearing loss with a patient‑centered approach and aligns with our value of accessible, life‑changing hearing health.

Base salary is $65k–$85k with uncapped commissions, plus extensive benefits. As part of a national network, you will help grow patient populations, perform fittings, and leverage audiometric equipment.

Qualifications

  • Active Hearing Aid Dispensing License or Audiology License per state requirements.
  • 2+ years Hearing Aid sales experience or 2 years equivalent training under licensed HIS or AuD.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality care and aftercare of dispensing services such as hearing tests and fittings.
  • Educate and train hearing aid users on best practices.
  • Perform checks on hearing aids, earmolds, and related devices including troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Help grow the patient population and meet practice financial KPIs.
  • Support Telehealth initiatives to expand patient care and product portfolio.

Pay: Base Salary 65k-85k base + Uncapped Commission

Responsibilities

You will help more people hear better by providing clinical expertise to diagnose and treat hearing loss while ensuring a positive patient experience. You will act in accordance with the required industry and state professional licensing standards. In addition to exceptional patient care you are responsible for growing your patient population and meeting practice financial goals.

  • Provide quality care and aftercare of dispensing services such as hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, educate and train hearing aid users of best practices.
  • Perform checks on hearing aids and other amplification devices. This includes but is not limited to troubleshooting, conducting repairs to hearing aids, earmolds and cleaning of hearing aids.
  • Achieve practice growth with a strong mindset on sales and key business metrics while maintaining ethical practice standards.
  • Local community outreach including health fairs and developing physician relationships. You represent HearingLife as an advocate to making a life changing difference.
  • Counsel patients on the purchase of their hearing aids, devices, and accessories. Maintain a current understanding of third‑party payors and various payment methods in accordance with federal and state laws.
  • Understand and meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly clinical finance targets working closely with your PCC and Manager to achieve clinics financial KPIs.
  • Support Telehealth initiatives (Remote Care) to expand patient care and product portfolio including but not limited conducting hearing tests, coach and educate patients on hearing aid devices.
  • Maintain continuing education requirements based on state requirements.
  • Ability to operate audiometric equipment and to interpret the results.
  • Ability to communicate test results and interpret and propose treatment in a manner easily understood by patients. Communication is key!

Qualifications
