Audiologist – Veteran Disability Assessments

We are seeking a dedicated Audiologist to join our team in performing medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. The role involves reviewing the Veteran's medical records uploaded into a secure computer portal, conducting a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, and completing a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the portal to generate the necessary medical documentation for the VA to determine eligibility for benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in‑person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
• Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Accurately document exam findings and complete the required VA forms.
• Caseload: 3-6 Veterans per day on average.
• Equipment provided: Computer and all necessary tools for documentation.
• Note: This role does not involve prescribing any medical treatments or devices; disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, not by the provider.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Part‑time, 2 days per week (10‑hour shifts).
• Location: In‑person, Calhoun, Louisiana, ZIP 71225.
• Predictable schedule with no on‑call duties.
