Job summary

Sonova USA Inc. is seeking an Audiologist / Hearing Instrument Specialist in Delaware, OH. The role involves performing hearing assessments, addressing patient inquiries, and conducting community outreach to enhance patient referrals.

Candidates must possess a Hearing Aid Dispensing License in Ohio, and a Doctorate in Audiology is preferred. This position offers a competitive salary between $70,000 - $80,000 plus commission, alongside comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision

Qualifications

  • Hearing Aid Dispensing License required in Ohio.
  • Doctorate in Audiology preferred for candidates.
  • Encouragement for 3rd and 4th year Audiology Externs to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient hearing test assessments.
  • Address patient questions on hearing aid benefits.
  • Discuss pricing and value of services.
  • Conduct community outreach for patient referrals.
  • Teach patients to utilize new hearing technology.
  • Perform hearing aid repairs and cleanings.
  • Ensure smooth office operations.

Job description

Audiologist / Hearing Instrument Specialist

Location: Delaware, OH 43015.

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 + Commission!

Office Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Essential Functions:

  • Perform patient hearing test assessments; analyze results and recommend varied treatment and product options.
  • Address patient's questions and concerns regarding benefits of Hearing Aid use.
  • Discuss pricing of hearing instruments, presenting the value of hearing health care, your services, and the long-term effects of hearing aid use.
  • Community outreach efforts to generate new patient referrals.
  • Teach patients how to utilize the new technology to meet their hearing goals.
  • Perform hearing aid repairs, checks, and cleanings.
  • Perform adjustments to fitted products; comply with all procedural company quality standards and guidelines to maximize product performance and overcome patient concerns/objections.
  • With direct support of clinic staff, ensure smooth office operations.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Hearing Aid Dispensing License in the state of Ohio.
  • Doctorate in Audiology preferred.
  • 3rd and 4th year Audiology Externs are encouraged to apply.
