RICHLAND COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT ONE – COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA. AUDIOLOGIST. FLSA: NON-EXEMPT. 220 days. Salary Range: $71,886.14 - $93,199.57 (Full-Time); $35,943.07 - $49,599.786 (Part-Time).
Under limited supervision, provides professional services to screen, identify, evaluate and facilitate instruction for students with hearing disorders. Serves as a member of the educational team in the evaluation, planning and placement process. Reports to the Director or Coordinator as assigned.
Performs related duties as required.
Requires a Master’s degree in audiology and completion of one year of a clinical fellowship under the supervision of a licensed audiologist, plus six to nine years of experience working with the hearing impaired, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and ability.
Must possess certification to meet State and Southern Association standards; must be a licensed audiologist.
Physical Requirements: Tasks involve the ability to exert very moderate physical effort in light work, typically involving stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling objects up to 20 pounds.
