Job description

ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA), the nation's largest ENT practice with over 50 locations throughout New York and New Jersey, is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Audiology Externs to join our team!

Our Audiology Department offers an outstanding externship experience, providing a comprehensive range of audiology services for all ages. As an extern at ENTA, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment alongside experienced audiologists, renowned otolaryngologists, and otologists.

Compensation: $45,000 per year

Externship Highlights:

Our fast-paced offices will ensure you gain extensive experience in areas such as:

  • Diagnostic audiological testing for pediatrics and adults
  • Otoacoustic Emissions (OAEs)
  • Vestibular testing (VNG)
  • Electrocochleography
  • Hearing aid evaluations, fittings, follow-ups, and troubleshooting with multiple hearing aid manufacturers
  • Ear plug fitting and dispensing
  • Auditory osseointegrated device fitting and dispensing (availability varies by location)
  • Establishing rapport with patients, gathering patient history, and counseling on all services above

Educational Opportunities:

Externs will have access to numerous educational opportunities exclusive to our extern class, including audiologist training and events.

Placement and Compensation:

Externs will be primarily placed at one or two offices to maximize learning. For locations, visit www.entandallergy.com/locations. This is a paid externship with potential for full-time employment as an audiologist upon licensure.
