Job summary

St Joseph's Health and Trinity Health are seeking an Audiologist to provide comprehensive diagnostic, rehabilitative, and counseling services for pediatric and adult patients with hearing and balance concerns. Responsibilities include behavioral/objective assessments, newborn testing, and management of cochlear implants and bone conduction devices.

Education requires Au.D. or higher, with supervised practicum/fellowship and active state licensure or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Au.D. required from an accredited program.
• Supervised clinical practicum and fellowship completed as per state requirements.
• Active state licensure as an Audiologist or eligibility for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic Audiologic Evaluation: behavioral and objective assessments incl. pure-tone, speech audiometry, immittance, OAE, ABR/ASSR.
• Pediatric Audiology: newborn ABR/ASSR, VRA, CPA; assess diverse developmental abilities.
• Patient/family counseling on hearing loss, options, and amplification/HAT systems.

Education

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited program

Clinical practicum and fellowship completed (per state requirements)

Active state licensure as an Audiologist or eligibility for licensure
