We are seeking an Audiologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
The Veteran files the claim before the appointment, with all medical records uploaded into a computer portal for review. You will conduct a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, and complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the portal. This documentation provides the medical evidence needed for the VA to determine benefits.
Note: Audiologists will NOT prescribe medical treatments or devices.
This role involves reviewing and assessing 3-6 Veterans per day on average.
Schedule: 3 days/week (Monday, Thursday, Friday)
This is an IN-PERSON position with 1 to 1.5 hours per patient. No evenings, on-call duties, weekends, or hearing aid sales.
