We are seeking an Audiologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
The Veteran files the claim before the appointment. All medical records are uploaded into a computer portal for review. You will conduct a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test. The Audiologist will complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the portal, which forms the medical evidence for VA benefits decisions.
Note: Audiologists will NOT prescribe medical treatments or devices.
This position reviews and assesses 3-6 Veterans per day on average.
Schedule: Part Time - Weekends
This is an IN-PERSON position with: 1 hour to 1 hour & 30 minutes per patient. No evenings, no on-call, no weekends, no hearing aid sales.
