Location: Mansfield Multi-speciality Clinic and Urgent Care Center

Department: Rehab-Arlington/Mansfield

Shift: First Shift (United States of America)

Standard Weekly Hours: 40

Summary: The staff Audiologist will provide in-patient and/or out-patient services, focusing on diagnosing hearing loss for pediatric patients. Responsibilities include working closely with children, families, speech pathologists, school personnel, specialists, and physicians to develop and implement plans to improve functional hearing, facilitating learning and development. Services include behavioral audiometry, auditory brainstem response, otoacoustic emissions, newborn hearing screenings, hearing aid evaluation and fitting, cochlear implants, and assistive listening devices. The role involves patient and caregiver education, consultation, and documentation according to policy.

Schedule: 4-day work week with Mondays off.

Qualifications:

  • Clinical Doctorate degree or PhD in Audiology
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • BLS certification within 30 days of employment
  • State license for Audiology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in audiology (ASHA) or Board Certified in Audiology (ABA), or eligibility to apply, to be obtained within 12 months of hire.
