Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking an audiologist to provide comprehensive evaluations and diagnostic testing at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital in Tampa.

The role primarily serves pediatric populations with an infant-to-geriatric mix, and includes ABR, ENG/VNG, CPA testing, and hearing aid fittings. The position offers flexible hours (full-time or part-time) with daytime shifts, and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) match, and annual

Qualifications

• CCC-A or F-AAA designation acceptable in lieu of CCC-A
• BLS certification required
• Active Audiologist license
• Master's degree in Audiology required
• Doctorate in Audiology preferred
• 1 year clinical related is preferred

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Auditory Evaluations
• Auditory Brainstem Response testing (sedated/non-sedated)
• Electronystagmography and Videonystagmography testing
• Central Auditory Processing Evaluations
• Ototoxicity Monitoring for Pediatric Chemotherapy Patients
• Hearing Aid fitting and adjustment to optimize performance based on patient feedback

This Audiology position has a patient population of infants through geriatrics although primarily pediatric.

Responsibilities :

• Comprehensive Auditory Evaluations
• Auditory Brainstem Response testing (sedated/non-sedated)

Minimum Qualifications:

• CCC - A (Clinical Competency Audiology),F-AAA (Fellow in the American Academy of Audiology) designation is acceptable in lieu of CCC-A.
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Audiologist License
• Required Master's degree Audiology
• Preferred Doctorate Audiology
• 1 year Clinical Related is preferred
