Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking applicants for Provider positions located throughout Florida to support Medical Readiness Services for the Florida Army National Guard. Work is primarily on weekends, with some occasional weekdays. All work is on a part-time "as needed" basis.

We provide health readiness services to meet medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable force for FLARNG. Duties include health assessments, records review, patient interviews, and HIPAA-compliant documentation.

Qualifications

  • Active professional licensure in Florida (PA/MD/DO/NP).
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use standard computer systems for documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Support physical health assessments of military personnel.
  • Review health history, medical records, and questionnaires.
  • Interview personnel to identify current and prior medical concerns.
  • Identify concerns needing immediate attention, including behavioral health.
  • Document interview results for readiness classification in medical records.
  • Document findings on official forms/systems; safeguard patient information.

Summary

LAUKOA is currently seeking applicants to fill our Provider positions located throughout the State of Florida in support of the Medical Readiness Services for the Florida Army National Guard. Work is primarily on weekends, with some occasional weekdays. All work is on a part-time "as needed" basis.

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the Florida Army National Guard (FLARNG).

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel
  • Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires
  • Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns
  • Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health
  • Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member's medical record using the Military module(s)
  • Document findings on Military approved forms and/or systems
  • Safeguard all patient information
  • Ensures all actions are in compliance with HIPAA and other appropriate federal and state laws and regulations
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Supervising Physician may required depending on the state requirement
Qualifications
  • Active PA, MD, DO or NP license in the state, without restrictions
  • CPR/BLS Certification
  • Adaptable to fast paced environments, with large volumes of service members seen daily
  • Able to work extended hours
  • Able to work in various locations, including remote military installations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills
  • A valid US driver's licenseAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes quickly
  • Ability to work for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed
  • Must submit no less than two professional references with a resume
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a Military setting
  • Previous Common Access Card (CAC) holder
