Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is hiring a licensed Audiologist for a full-time school-based role in Satsuma, AL. You will conduct hearing evaluations, interpret results, and collaborate with teachers and families to support student outcomes.

Ideal candidates have a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree, supervised clinical experience, and state licensure. Experience with children/adolescents and school-based settings is preferred, with competitive pay and benefits offered.

  • Completed supervised clinical experience.
  • Passed the Praxis Audiology Exam.
  • State licensure through ABESPA.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents preferred.
  • School-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct hearing evaluations and assessments for students.
  • Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to support student success.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop appropriate interventions.
  • Monitor and support the use of hearing assistive technology and amplification devices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district regulations.
  • Promote students' communication, academic achievement, and social-emotional development.
