Job summary

HearingLife is seeking a full-time Audiologist to provide coverage across multiple North Carolina HearingLife locations, including Concord, Lexington, and Winston-Salem area. This traveling role supports patient care, device fittings, and follow-up services with mileage reimbursement and planned travel.

Qualifications include an active Audiologist license and ability to adapt to different clinic environments.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat hearing loss following clinical standards.
  • Conduct hearing assessments, fittings, and patient education on device use.
  • Provide aftercare including troubleshooting and maintenance of devices.
  • Counsel patients on devices and payment options in compliance with regulations.
  • Contribute to clinic growth while upholding ethical practices.
  • Engage in community outreach and physician relationship building.
  • Collaborate with coordinators and leadership to meet financial goals.
  • Support telehealth and remote care initiatives.
  • Maintain continuing education and licensure compliance.
  • Operate audiometric equipment and interpret results clearly.

HearingLife is seeking a full-time Audiologist to join our clinical team and support patients across multiple communities throughout the region. This traveling role offers the opportunity to practice in a variety of clinic settings while collaborating with a network of dedicated hearing care professionals. Responsibilities include providing coverage at nearby HearingLife locations, delivering comprehensive hearing healthcare services, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. Mileage reimbursement is provided, and travel schedules are planned in advance whenever possible to support work-life balance. Candidates must hold an active Audiology license in accordance with state requirements.

Compensation
  • $85,000-$95,000 + Uncapped Commission
  • Mileage Reimbursement for Travel Between Clinics

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat hearing loss in accordance with clinical and state licensing standards
  • Conduct hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, and patient education on device use and care
  • Provide quality aftercare services including troubleshooting, repairs, and hearing aid maintenance
  • Counsel patients on hearing aid and accessory options, including payment methods and third-party payor processes in compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Achieve clinic growth goals while maintaining ethical clinical and sales practices
  • Participate in community outreach activities, including health fairs and physician relationship development
  • Collaborate with Patient Care Coordinators and clinic leadership to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance goals
  • Support telehealth and remote care initiatives, including remote hearing tests and patient coaching
  • Maintain required continuing education and licensure compliance
  • Operate audiometric equipment and accurately interpret test results
  • Clearly communicate test outcomes and recommended treatment plans to patients in an easy-to-understand manner
