Equiliem seeks an Audio Visual Technician II to install, configure, and troubleshoot AV systems across local commercial, retail, educational, industrial, and healthcare sites. The role demands advanced hardware troubleshooting, blueprint literacy, and building AV racks from scratch.

You’ll also guide one to two technicians during project portions and assist with DSP configuration and network troubleshooting. The position starts around 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of hands-on audio visual installation and troubleshooting experience.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints is required.
• Experience building AV equipment racks from scratch.
• Certifications from manufacturers such as Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS/QSC, Biamp, Dante, or AVIXA preferred.
• Basic DSP software experience, audio tuning, control panel configuration, and network troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Audio Visual Technician II

Location: Tempe, AZ
Schedule/Shift: Typically starts at 7:00 a.m.; 40 to 50 hours per week
Pay: $23 to $30 per hour
Position Type: Contract to hire after 640 hours

Job Summary

We are seeking an Audio Visual Technician II to install, configure, and troubleshoot AV systems at local commercial, retail, educational, industrial, and healthcare project sites. This role requires advanced hardware troubleshooting skills, the ability to read blueprints, and experience building AV equipment racks from scratch. The technician will also support basic software troubleshooting and provide guidance to one or two technicians during assigned portions of a project.

• Some experience leading or guiding one or two technicians.
• Relevant AV certifications from organizations or manufacturers such as Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS/QSC, Biamp, Dante, or AVIXA.
• Basic experience with DSP software, audio tuning, control panel configuration, and network troubleshooting.

Additional Job Details

• Work at local project sites within the branch service area.
• Availability for a typical 7:00 a.m. start and 40 to 50 hours per week, including overtime as needed.
