University of Michigan's LSA Technology Services seeks an Audio Visual Technician to collaborate with instructors and staff to operate instructional technology and AV equipment, respond to calls or tickets, and provide media support for classes, events, and conferences.
This role involves 100% on-site work on the UM Ann Arbor Central Campus with some evening and weekend hours; you will be part of a team delivering reliable service and cutting-edge classroom technology.
The LSA Technology Services team partners with students, faculty, staff, and other members of the LSA community to use technology and integrated solutions. We provide a broad range of services and skills to advocate for members of the LSA community and help them achieve their strategic goals. As a team, we have agreed on 7 core values:
As an Audio Visual Technician with LSA Technology Services, you will collaborate with instructors and others to operate and resolve issues with a variety of instructional technology and audio-visual equipment. You will process and respond to calls or tickets for audio-visual technical support. You will provide media support for classes, special events, and conferences, which will include videography, video conferencing, video streaming, lecture capture, and projection. You will participate in on-the-job training to gain skills and expertise.
This position includes some evening and weekend work. Schedules may be adjusted to accommodate this work.
This position is 100% onsite in Ann Arbor, located on the UM Ann Arbor Central Campus.
