A significant share of the work is on location, covering events and capturing the agency’s facilities and people. The remainder is in the studio and the control rooms.

Responsibilities
  • Photography and Videography: Capture high-quality, compelling photography and video at agency events, press conferences, commemorations, and operational facilities. Produce facility B-roll, beauty shots, and documentary content that effectively communicates the Port Authority’s mission, projects, and operations.

Maintain accurate metadata, naming conventions, and organized digital records to ensure content is searchable, accessible, preserved, and reusable across the agency.
  • Audiovisual Equipment and Technical Operations: Maintain working proficiency with agency-owned cameras, lenses, lighting, audio systems, and production equipment. Assist with equipment setup, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance coordination, and identification of repair or replacement needs to support reliable production operations.

Accommodate early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional short-notice assignments. Safely transport, set up, and break down equipment; stand for extended periods; maintain a valid driver’s license; obtain required facility access credentials; and complete applicable safety training
