Job summary

Continua Interiors is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale AV projects and align labor budgets with strategic goals. You will mentor teams, manage schedules, and ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and risk mitigation.

The role requires 7+ years in PM with AV/tech integration, plus strong leadership and financial skills. Travel may be required; a PMP/CTS-D/CTS-I is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of project management experience, with 3+ years in AV/tech integration.
  • Proven success managing large, enterprise AV projects.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities within PM teams.
  • Solid financial and risk management skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship abilities.
  • Advanced problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and implementation of large-scale AV projects.
  • Provide strategic guidance on labor and travel budgets to executives.
  • Develop detailed project schedules and resource plans.
  • Mentor project teams to meet milestones and deadlines.
  • Forecast financial performance including margins and subcontractor costs.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and risk assessments with mitigation.
  • Represent Continua Interiors in client and construction meetings.
  • Approve change orders and ensure proper documentation.
  • Oversee project close-out, acceptance, reconciliation, and lessons learned.
  • Drive ongoing improvements in methods, tools, and standards.
  • Lead PMs through process changes and align across the organization.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
  • Lead planning and implementation of large-scale or technically complex AV projects.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on labor and travel budget planning, providing strategic guidance to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project schedules and resource plans; anticipate challenges and proactively resolve them.
  • Oversee and mentor project teams to achieve milestones and deadlines.
  • Manage and forecast project financial performance, including margin, labor budgets, and subcontractor costs.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and risk assessments, implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Represent Continua Interiors in client and construction meetings, ensuring alignment and professionalism.
  • Direct and approve change orders; ensure timely documentation and communication.
  • Oversee project close-out, including final acceptance, documentation, reconciliation, and lessons learned.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery methods, tools, and standards.
  • Lead project managers through process change while building alignment and driving organizational buy-in.
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 in the audiovisual or technology integration industry.
  • Demonstrated success managing enterprise-level or multi-phase AV projects.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring abilities within a project management team.
  • Strong financial and risk management skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Advanced problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Certifications such as PMP, CTS-D, or CTS-I preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop. The employee may occasionally lift and /or move up to 70 pounds. This position may require travel between offices, jobsites, and/or client locations, which may involve extended periods of sitting or standing, lifting light luggage, and adapting to different time zones.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The hiring compensation range for this position is an annual base salary of $100,000 - $133,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and location, as well as internal equity and market considerations.

HOURS:

This is a full-time position. Standard work schedule is Monday-Friday unless otherwise noted.
