Job summary

CTI, a leading audiovisual provider, is seeking an experienced AV Project Manager to deliver high-quality customer experiences. You will lead all aspects of AV integration projects, delegate tasks, and ensure on-time delivery with strong communication.

Requirements include 5+ years managing commercial AV projects, hands-on AV installation experience, and the ability to manage budgets and documentation. Travel up to 25% and a preferred Associate's degree.

Qualifications

• An Associate's degree is preferred, but not required.
• 5+ years managing commercial AV integration projects, developing strategies, and coordinating resources, required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; maintaining accurate project documents and client updates, required.
• Team management experience with training and performance management, required.
• Hands-on AV installations and creative problem solving, required.
• Budget and performance monitoring to meet deadlines and budget goals, required.
• Travel to client sites; company-paid, around 25% overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Communicate deadlines, specs, and budgets to the AV install team.
• Ensure all project documents, BOMs, and change orders are current.

• Lead and train a team of employees, overseeing performance.
• Delegate responsibilities with clarity and ensure tasks are tracked.
• Support install staff from installation to final punch lists.
• Monitor timelines and margins to keep projects on track.

What are your Responsibilities?

• Strategize Like a Pro: Develop and implement strategies to achieve project goals, like a master chess player plotting the ultimate checkmate. Your moves will ensure seamless AV integration.
• Resource Ringmaster: Schedule all necessary corporate services and labor resources, including programming, touch panel wizardry, rack build magic, installation, and commissioning.
• Deadline Dynamo: Communicate project deadlines, specifications, and budgets to the AV install team with the precision of a Swiss watch. Your timing will keep everything in sync.
• Document Detective: Ensure all project documents are current and accurate, from detailed drawings to comprehensive bills of materials and change orders.
• Client Confidant: Maintain a steady stream of communication with clients, providing them with timely updates on issues, scope changes, schedules, and project progress. You'll be their go-to guru.
• Team Captain: Lead and inspire a team of talented employees, overseeing training and performance management.
• Delegation Dynamo: Delegate responsibilities with the precision of a maestro, ensuring that team members are identified, documented, and current. No task too small, no detail overlooked.
• AV Superhero: Support the AV install staff in bringing projects to life, from installation and programming to final punch lists. Your cape is optional, but your expertise is essential.
• Deadline Defender: Ensure projects stay on track to meet client deadlines and that the current margin accurately reflects the remaining work. You'll be the guardian of the timeline.

• An Associate's degree is preferred, but not required.
• Project Planning and Managing: 5+ years managing commercial AV integration projects, developing strategies, and coordinating resources, required.
• Communication and Documentation: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in maintaining accurate project documents and client updates, required.
• Team Management: Experience in leading teams, including training and performance management, required.
• Technical Oversight: Hands-on experience with AV installations and providing creative solutions, required.
• Budget and Performance Monitoring: Ability to track and improve performance metrics, ensuring projects meet deadlines and budget goals, required.
• Travel: Meet the clients where they are and provide guidance to the technical staff on site. (Company paid, overnight travel estimated around 25%)
