Job summary

Design & Integration is seeking an Audio Visual Project Manager to lead commercial AV integration projects across the Baltimore region. You will manage projects from estimation through installation, commissioning and closeout, coordinating with clients, contractors and internal teams to deliver high-quality results.

The ideal candidate has hands-on AV experience, strong leadership, and a track record of keeping projects on schedule and within budget while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in project management, project coordination, field leadership or installation management within commercial AV or systems integration.
• Experience with structured cabling, networking, physical security, or other integrated technology systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial AV projects from estimation through closeout.
• Develop project estimates, budgets, schedules, and execution plans.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and technology partners to maintain preferred access and pricing.
• Stay informed of emerging security technologies and solutions.
• Lead project meetings and serve as the primary customer point of contact.
• Track project financial performance, manage change orders, and support profitability objectives.
• Coordinate with procurement, equipment deliveries, subcontractors, and field resources.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, documentation, and project turnover.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in project management, project coordination, field leadership, engineering, or installation management within the commercial AV, low-voltage, or systems integration industry.
• Experience with structured cabling, networking, physical security, or other integrated technology systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, or a related field. Equivalent industry experience will be considered.
