Job summary

AV-Tech Media Solutions is seeking a Project Engineer to design, implement, and support AV systems on site at our Roswell, GA office. You will collaborate with Account Managers, Project Managers, and clients to meet specifications and ensure successful project completion.

Responsibilities include site surveys, creating documentation, and providing technical support while staying current with AV technologies from manufacturers like Crestron, Extron, Biamp, and QSC.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and switch priorities.
• Independent judgment in the resolution of administrative problems.
• CTS Certification preferred, willingness to pursue CTS-I and/or CTS-D.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account Managers, Project Managers and Clients to define requirements and ensure project specifications are met.
• Conduct site surveys and work closely with installation teams to ensure system compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including system drawings, equipment lists, and technical manuals.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for installed AV systems.
• Stay up to date with the latest AV technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
• Assist in training end-users and Clients on system operation and maintenance.
• Work collaboratively with vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Well-spoken with demonstrably clear understanding of AV technology, including notable manufacturers, such as Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, etc.

Role: The Project Engineer, is responsible for the design, implementing, and support of systems related to the audio-visual requirements of a project. The role involves collaboration with clients, Project Managers, and related technical teams to ensure seamless integration of AV solutions.

Work Environment

This is a Full-Time, Monday through Friday, on-site, in-office role in our Roswell, GA office.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• High School diploma/GED required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to manage moving from one task to another

• Ability to learn new knowledge, skills, and abilities
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Valid driver's license
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently and under direction
