Job summary

FORTÉ is seeking a detail-oriented installation technician to support our clients by wiring and configuring integrated audio/visual systems at customer sites. You will diagnose issues, complete terminations, and ensure reliable, high-quality performance.

This role requires self-direction, strong customer service, and willingness to travel. OSHA/InfoComm credentials are preferred, with opportunities to grow as we deliver cutting-edge workplace technology.

Qualifications

• Experience in service or installation audiovisual, low voltage, or related field.
• Experience with cable terminations, soldering and mounting.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools.
• Ability to travel to customer sites.
• InfoComm CTS Certification preferred, or within first year.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification preferred, or within first year.
• Experience in a construction environment preferred.

• Provide excellent customer service and ensure high-quality on-site delivery.
• Collaborate with customers and teams to install and configure systems at sites.

What You Will Be Doing

You would support FORTÉ clients directly by assisting with installation of their integrated audio/visual technologies. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

What You Bring to Assure Success:

• Previous experience in the service or installation audiovisual, low voltage, security systems, or closely related field
• Previous experience with cable terminations, soldering, and mounting
• Proficiency with basic hand tools
• Ability to work independently, be self-directed and make sound decisions based on customer satisfaction
• Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites
• InfoComm CTS Certification preferred, or ability to complete within your first year of employment
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification preferred, or ability to complete within your first year of employment
• Experience in a construction environment preferred
