Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking an Audio Visual Engineer to design, install, and support advanced AV systems across conference rooms, training facilities, and corporate spaces.

You will collaborate with IT and Facilities to deliver high-quality AV experiences aligned with corporate goals. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of AV design and support experience, with proficiency in control systems and conferencing platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 3+ years of experience designing, installing, and supporting AV systems.
• Proficiency with control systems (Crestron, Extron, or similar) and conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams, WebEx).
• Knowledge of networked AV systems and digital video distribution (HDBaseT, Dante).

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer integrated audiovisual systems for corporate, conference, and training environments.
• Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of AV hardware and devices.
• Develop technical documentation such as system schematics and rack layouts.
• Provide training and documentation to employees on AV systems and conferencing tools.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging AV technologies.

About the PositionThe Audio Visual Engineer designs, implements, and maintains audiovisual systems to support Power Design’s internal and external technology needs. This role is responsible for the design, installation, configuration, and support of AV hardware and software, ensuring seamless operation across conference rooms, training facilities, and corporate spaces.
