FLSA Status: Part-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Summary:

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for Audio/Video Technician for the Peoria Civic Center.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Setup, operate, and maintain sound and video equipment in the Arena, Theater, Exhibit Halls, and meeting rooms.
  • Review sound and video requirements for shows to ensure client requirements are met.
  • Work with clients to achieve reliable and professional results throughout the event.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None for this position

Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and / or Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge of sound and video equipment, including power hookups required.
  • Experience mixing sound and operating video for live performances preferred.
  • Experience with electronic/technical aspects of theater production a plus.

Skill and Abilities:

  • Ability to work a varied part-time schedule according to the schedule of events, including evenings, weekends, some holidays.
  • Ability to learn and execute standard methods for sound and video production.

Computer Skills:

  • Competency in usage of Office application suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Other Qualifications:

  • Must have reliable transportation.

  • Ability to lift, pull, push up to 25 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
