Job summary

Bridged Technology LLC is seeking an installation professional to service audiovisual, CCTV, and door access systems in Maryland and beyond. You will install, configure, test, and maintain equipment for clients across diverse environments, including events and meetings.

You will also assist with design, quoting, and sales efforts to meet client needs. Strong wiring and low voltage skills, plus the ability to read schematics, are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with audiovisual, CCTV and door access systems is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings is required.
• Strong troubleshooting in telecom and IT environments is expected.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot audiovisual, CCTV, and door access systems.
• Mount TVs and display boards across environments.
• Collaborate with clients to determine AV, CCTV, and access needs.
• Assist with design, quoting, and sales support for systems.
• Set up equipment for events and meetings.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on installed systems.
• Test new AV technologies and propose upgrades.
• Create and maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, and inventories.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot audiovisual, CCTV, and door access systems
• Installation/Mounting of TVs and Display Boards in various environments
• Collaborate with clients to determine their audiovisual, CCTV, and door access needs
• Able to collaborate with Bridged Technology's team to efficiently design, quote and assisting with sale of the system
• Set up and operate audiovisual equipment for events, meetings, and presentations
• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on installed systems and systems we've inherited
• Test and evaluate new audiovisual technologies and recommend upgrades or enhancements
• Create and maintain documentation such as schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment inventory

Skills:

• Proficient in telecommunication systems and protocols
• Strong software troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of low voltage systems and wiring principles
• Basic construction knowledge
• Familiarity with computer hardware components and configurations
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
• Understanding of electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles
• Proficient in the use of hand tools for installation and repair work
• Experience with cabling and cable management practices
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical individuals
