Job summary

Audio Video in College Station, TX is seeking a Lead Technician/Programmer to oversee residential AV projects from design through final programming and client training. You will install, program, and service audio/video, lighting, shading, and automation systems, working with Control4, Josh.ai, Lutron, and Savant.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in residential AV/automation, strong IT networking knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Certifications for Control4 and/or Lutron HomeWorks required.
• 4+ years of field experience in residential AV/automation.
• Strong IT networking knowledge; certifications a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Clean driving record and background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from design and rough-in through final programming and client training.
• Install, program, and service residential audio/video, lighting, shading, and automation systems.
• Work with platforms including Control4, Josh.ai, Lutron, and Savant (Crestron/AMX/URC a plus).
• Configure and troubleshoot complex networks and AV distribution systems.
• Mentor junior technicians and help shape company best practices.
