Job summary

The Integrated Home is seeking an Audio/Video and Home Automation Technician to ensure top-tier implementation experiences for our clients. You will work within a suite of software tools including Slack, Microsoft Office, T-Sheets, Zendesk, Google Drive, and Dropbox to keep projects on track and communicate with clients throughout the process.

Your day-to-day will be fast-moving, requiring adaptability, reliability, and a strong focus on delivering 100% client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Custom Integration, Security or related firm.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
• Ability to follow through and maintain professional presentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project completion in a timely manner and coordinate on-site work.
• Maintain close communication with lead technicians, project management, and clients during the process.
• Utilize tools and systems (Slack, MS Office, Zendesk, Google Drive) to support project delivery.

As an Audio/Video and Home Automation Technician at The Integrated Home, your time will be spent ensuring our clients receive the best possible implementation experience 100% of the time. This will include working extensively within a suite of software tools we have implemented for this purpose, including Slack, Microsoft Office, T-Sheets, Zendesk, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. You will be responsible for ensuring project completion in a timely manner, coordinating the on-site work and staying in close communication with our lead technicians, project management team and valued clients throughout the process.

If we’re lucky, your daily work will be planned and structured. However, being a Technician in our custom integration business is a fast-moving and dynamic line of work. Your priorities can shift at a moment’s notice, based on a multitude of internal/external factors, and you must be comfortable in this environment to succeed at The Integrated Home.

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a Custom Integration, Security or Related Firm
• Control system experience, especially with Control4, preferred
• Security system experience preferred
• High level of emotional intelligence
• Professional appearance at all times
• Excellent communication skills
• Resourceful and willing to patiently work through challenging situations
• Patient and friendly at all times
• Dedicated to details and follow-through
• Ambition to strive for 100% client satisfaction at all times
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• Participate in pre-employment and ongoing random drug tests
