We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Audio and Media Technologies team, which supports audio, video, and graphics across all Apple products, including iPhone, iPod, iPad, Apple TV, Apple Watch, iTunes, and macOS, as well as professional applications like Final Cut, Logic, and iWork.

Our team is at the forefront of audio technology, supporting products like AirPods, HomePod, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Apple TV. The Core Audio team develops the foundational audio features for functionalities such as Siri, FaceTime, media capture, playback, and APIs for third-party developers.

Role Description

As a Triage Engineer in Core Audio, you will collaborate across multiple teams to understand, reproduce, and analyze bugs, determine actions, assign tasks, and develop tools for efficient troubleshooting. This role involves dynamic challenges, requiring strong debugging skills, curiosity, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Screen incoming bugs: understand, reproduce, characterize, and isolate issues.
  • Prioritize trending issues and develop actionable steps for escalation.
  • Create tools and scripts to improve bug triage efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Solid understanding of audio technologies and real-time audio systems.
  • Knowledge of core OS concepts such as multi-threading, memory, and power management.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSc or MSc in CS, EE, or related fields, or equivalent experience with digital audio technologies.
  • Experience with Javascript or scripting tools; knowledge of C, C++, and Objective-C is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

Base pay ranges from $121,900 to $214,500, depending on skills and experience. Additional benefits include stock options, medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, discounts, educational reimbursement, bonuses, and relocation assistance. Learn more at Apple Benefits.
