Welo Data is seeking experienced Adjudicators to review and resolve discrepancies in word-level transcription and timestamp annotations for an English (US) speech data project. You will make final calls on disputed segments and ensure consistency with the project style guide.

Ideal candidates have US English listening comprehension, knowledge of transcription QA or linguistic review, and a meticulous eye for detail.

Qualificações

• US cultural expertise in English and excellent listening comprehension.
• Experience in transcription/annotation QA or linguistic review preferred.
• High attention to detail and comfort working with ambiguity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review annotations flagged by first-pass annotators for disagreement or ambiguity.
• Listen to audio clips and make final determinations on word-level segment boundaries and transcriptions.
• Apply the project style guide consistently and identify patterns in annotator errors.

Requirements:

• US cultural expertise in English and excellent listening comprehension.
• Prior experience in transcription/annotation QA or linguistic review preferred.
• High attention to detail and comfort working with ambiguity.
• Rate: USD 7.00/hour.
• Estimated hours: 15-20 hours/week.
