Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking an Audio Engineer – Media & Archival Services to digitize, restore, and preserve legacy and modern audio formats. You will maintain studio hardware, ensure chain-of-custody, and uphold metadata accuracy for archival assets.

Requirements include 3+ years in audio engineering or preservation, proficiency with Pro Tools and iZotope RX, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Location is Boyers, PA, with a temp-to-hire pathway after one year.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in audio engineering, restoration, or legacy media preservation.
Strong knowledge of analog and digital formats (reel-to-reel, tape, DAT) and restoration tools like Pro Tools and iZotope RX.
Proven ability to troubleshoot studio hardware and software while managing multiple preservation projects under deadline.

Responsibilities

Digitize, restore, and remediate audio materials into high-quality digital formats with detailed logs and preserved media reports.
Collaborate with client services, archivists, studio staff, and clients to communicate progress and manage workflows.
Ensure compliance with chain-of-custody procedures and archival metadata standards across all media assets.
