Job summary

NEP Group Inc. in Van Nuys is seeking an experienced Audio Prep Technician (Engineer) to perform QC, testing, and packaging of audio and intercom equipment. This full-time, onsite role runs Monday–Friday 9:00am–6:00pm with overtime and weekends as needed.

You will build packages, support clients both remotely and on site, and troubleshoot devices. Requires 3–5 years in Broadcast/Entertainment, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office; wage is $28–$34 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in the Broadcast, Sports, and Entertainment Industry.
• Ability to install and troubleshoot audio and intercom devices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to solve unusual or unexpected problems
• Effective communication skills

Responsibilities

• Testing and configuration of audio and intercom hardware
• Design and build packages based on client requirements
• Provide technical support to internal and external clients remotely and on site
• Perform repairs and upgrades as needed on various gear
• Working both independently and as part of a team
