Job summary

Microsoft is seeking an Audio Production Professional to support the Demo and Experience team in Redmond. You will handle recording, on‑set audio, and postproduction mixing, collaborating with product PMs and creative leads to ensure brand‑consistent storytelling.

The role covers capturing high‑quality sound for video content, providing event support, and assisting editors to maintain production schedules while adopting new audio technologies.

Qualifications

• Production and post‑production audio experience across recording, mixing, and editing.
• Proficiency in Pro Tools and industry‑standard plugins.
• Experience running boom microphones and wireless lavaliers on live shoots.

Responsibilities

• Mix and edit postproduction audio for clear dialogue and balanced levels.
• Record audio for live shoots in studio and field environments.
• Manage and organize media files with consistent naming and version control.
• Troubleshoot audio equipment and workflows to keep on schedule.
• Travel to offsite events for on‑location audio capture and support.
• Collaborate with creative leads to refine audio and deliver final mixes on schedule.
• Provide additional editing support during peak production periods.
• Stay current with evolving audio tools and postproduction techniques.
