Job Description

BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Audio Project Manager for an Onsite in Redmond, WA opportunity.

Location: Onsite in Redmond, WA

Anticipated Start Date: 03/15/2026

Expected Duration: 6 Months

Job Type: Contract – FULL TIME (40 Hours a week)

Responsibilities
  • Drive project planning, execution, and delivery for research and feature development.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Communicate project status, dependencies, and risks to stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper documentation of progress and completion of tasks and projects.
  • Oversee procurement of equipment and vendor services.
  • Support operational (non-research) projects and tasks as needed.
  • This role requires an onsite presence 5 days per week at the Redmond facilities.
  • 3+ years of project management experience in research or product development.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrates proactive initiative and excels at managing multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effectively collaborates across functions, building strong partnerships with team members and stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Possesses exceptional organizational and time management skills, ensuring priorities are met and deadlines consistently achieved.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • PMP or similar certification.

  • Quick Prioritization: Ability to rapidly assess and organize medium-term goals (up to 3 months).
  • Risk Assessment: Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ownership & Organization: Take charge of priorities, ensuring clarity within workstreams.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with multiple technical leads to prioritize and execute ongoing work.
  • Communication of Priorities: Ensure all stakeholders are aware of current priorities; elevate or initiate necessary conversations if priorities are unclear.
  • Concise Conveyance: Clearly communicate priorities within and across workstreams.
  • Technical Understanding: Possess a technical background to understand and articulate project goals.
  • Audio Background (Highly Desirable): While audio expertise is preferred, candidates with other technical backgrounds who can learn quickly are also valued.
  • Direct Oversight: Manage and track tasks and goals in collaboration with technical leads.
  • Progress Monitoring: Ensure timely completion and documentation of tasks.
Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies is beneficial.
  • Machine learning experience.
  • End-to-end software project management experience.
