Job summary

Insignia Event Services is seeking an Assistant Audio Engineer to provide hands-on support for planning, coordinating, and executing audio elements across a diverse portfolio of events in Arizona. The role collaborates with the production team to ensure high-quality audio experiences for sports and premier live events.

The ideal candidate will have live sports or event production experience and a solid working knowledge of professional audio systems, while remaining adaptable to changing event

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in audio-related work preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in large-volume venue preferred.
• Must be creative, innovative, passionate, results-oriented with excellence.

Responsibilities

• Understand, operate, troubleshoot various audio systems and equipment.
• Mix audio with multiple source/destination types.
• Assist with stadium audio systems during football games and live events.
• Maintain clear signal flow and proper gain structure.
• Use analog and digital mixers as needed.
• Safely deploy PA speaker systems.
• Set up stands and microphones.
• Other duties as assigned.

Reports to: Audio Manager

Summary:

The Assistant Audio Engineer provides operational support for the planning, coordination, and execution of audio elements for Insignia Events. Working closely with the production team, this role helps ensure high-quality audio experiences across a diverse portfolio of events, including Arizona Cardinals home games, the Fiesta Bowl, other major sporting events, and a wide range of premier live events, programs, and guest experiences.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting live sports and event production, a strong understanding of the operational demands of live events, and a solid working knowledge of professional audio systems and equipment. This individual is a collaborative team player who can adapt to changing event needs while helping deliver exceptional event experiences

Primary Job Duties:

• Ability to understand, operate, trouble shoot, various audio systems and equipment
• Ability to mix audio with a multitude of source and destination types
• Assist with the operation of stadium audio systems during football games and other live events
• Strong understanding of audio signal flow and gain structure
• Ability to use various analog and digital audio mixers
• Safely assist with deploying various PA speaker systems
• Set up stands and microphones
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Flexibility with work varying schedules including evenings, holidays, and weekends
• Able to lift minimum of 50 lbs.
