Job summary

ADESA is seeking a Transport Driver to move, stage, and park auction vehicles safely at our Grimes location. You will transport cars to designated lots, verify VINs against requests, and ensure correct order in lanes during sale days.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, basic computer skills, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. Compensation is hourly with added benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to work outdoors under any type of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles to and from designated areas, following auction rules and safe driving practices.
• Move vehicles through auction lanes on sale days and park them in correct order.
• Verify VINs against transportation requests and inspect for damage during movement.
• Inflate tires, jump-start vehicles if needed, and refuel as necessary.
• Assist customers such as dealers and coworkers and perform basic walkthroughs of vehicles.
