Job summary

Cox Automotive USA in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a Driver I - Non-DOT to safely move, stage, and park vehicles on Auction property, drive to lots and customer businesses, and navigate lanes during sale days.

This hourly role requires a valid license, ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift light loads, with potential overtime. Benefits include health coverage, a 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
• Capable of sitting for prolonged periods and walking long distances.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear on a shift.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; auction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale day in a safe manner.
• Drive vehicles to and from designated areas on Auction premises and to customer dealerships and businesses.
• Line up and park vehicles as directed, move vehicles as needed, and locate lost vehicles.
• Assist with getting vehicles operating as needed and inflate tires or jump start if required.
• Notify supervisor when a vehicle is inoperative or out of gas; assist customers and coworkers as needed.
