eBay is seeking a Catalog Manager to lead the cataloging team and oversee the creation of accurate catalog listings and metadata for auction items. The role requires strong leadership to coach a growing team, manage workflows across seven days, and ensure high standards of quality, productivity, and scalability.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in people management and deep knowledge of collectibles, plus experience with Monday.com, Jira, or Asana.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of people management experience, including hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
5+ years of experience in the collectibles industry with strong knowledge of collectibles categories, market trends, and product attributes.
Experience managing operational workflows in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Experience using work management platforms such as Monday.com, Jira, Asana, or similar tools.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of catalogers to deliver accurate, high-quality catalog listings.
Recruit, onboard, and train new catalogers to support growth and increased auction volume.
Set performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews.
Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Develop staffing plans and schedules to support a seven-day operation.
