Job summary

Greenawalt Hospitality is hiring Auburn Game Day Staff to help support food, beverage, and hospitality operations at Auburn University sporting events.

This is a flexible, event-based opportunity with assignments across concessions, cashier stations, grab-and-go areas, and beverage locations. Some roles may include bartending for 21+ and alcohol service, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 21+ for bartending and alcohol-service assignments.
• Available to work Auburn University sporting events, including evenings and weekends.
• Reliable transportation to and from scheduled events.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable working around crowds and in high-volume environments.
• Ability to stand and stay active for extended periods; lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Serve food, snacks, drinks, and other concession products accurately and efficiently.
• Work in assigned concession stands, grab-and-go areas, cashier locations, and beverage stations.
• Take guest orders and process payments using point-of-sale systems.
• Keep food, drinks, ice, cups, and other supplies stocked during events.
• Maintain clean, organized, and ready-to-serve work areas.
• Assist with beverage service and bar operations when assigned.
• Check IDs and follow responsible alcohol-service procedures.
• Complete required onboarding and training for roles.
• Represent Greenawalt Hospitality positively at Auburn events.

Greenawalt Hospitality supports food, beverage, and hospitality operations at live events and sporting events throughout Alabama and beyond. At Auburn University athletic events, our team helps keep game day running smoothly while creating a friendly and enjoyable experience for fans.

We're growing our team for a new Auburn athletics season and are looking for reliable, energetic people who enjoy working with others and don't mind a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

Greenawalt Hospitality is hiring Auburn Game Day Staff to help support food, beverage, and hospitality operations at Auburn University sporting events.

This is a flexible, event-based opportunity with a variety of possible assignments. Depending on the event and your training, you may work in concession stands, cashier stations, grab-and-go areas, food service, beverage locations, stocking, guest service, ID checking, or other game day positions.

Employees who are 21 or older and complete the appropriate training may also have opportunities to work in bartending and alcohol service.

Whether you're serving food during a busy game, operating a register, restocking a concession area, helping at a beverage station, or jumping in wherever your team needs you, you'll help make game day a great experience for Auburn fans.

Key Responsibilities

Game Day & Concessions

Serve food, snacks, drinks, and other concession products accurately and efficiently

Work in assigned concession stands, grab-and-go areas, cashier locations, and beverage stations

Take guest orders and process payments using point-of-sale systems

Keep food, drinks, ice, cups, and other supplies stocked during events

Maintain clean, organized, and ready-to-serve work areas

Assist with beverage service and bar operations when assigned

Check IDs when trained and working in designated alcohol-service areas

Follow all responsible alcohol service procedures and company requirements

Employees age 21+ may have opportunities to train for bartending and other alcohol-service roles

Complete ServSafe Alcohol Certification when required for a particular assignment

Fan Service

Greet guests and provide friendly, helpful service

Work efficiently during busy game day periods and large crowds

Answer basic questions and help guests with food, beverage, and concession needs

Remain professional and courteous during high-volume service

Represent Greenawalt Hospitality positively while working at Auburn events

Setup, Stocking & Closing

Help get concession and beverage areas ready before the event begins

Unload, organize, and stock products and supplies as needed

Keep assigned stations stocked and organized throughout the event

Help with cleaning, breakdown, inventory, and closing tasks after service

Follow proper food handling and storage procedures

Teamwork & Accountability

Work alongside supervisors, team leads, bartenders, and other event staff

Arrive on time, ready to work, and prepared for your assigned position

Complete required Greenawalt Hospitality onboarding and training

Follow Auburn University, venue, food safety, alcohol service, and company requirements

Be flexible and willing to move between assignments when event operations require additional support

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older

Must be 21 years of age or older for bartending and applicable alcohol service assignments

Available to work Auburn University sporting events, including evenings and weekends

Reliable transportation to and from scheduled events

Consistent access to a phone, text messaging, email, and company scheduling communications

Strong customer service and communication skills

Comfortable working around crowds and in busy, high-volume environments

Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods

Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 30 pounds

Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience is helpful, but not required. Experience in any of the following is a plus:

Concessions, catering, or food service

Cashier, retail, or point-of-sale positions

Bartending or beverage service

Sporting events, concerts, festivals, or other large-scale events

Customer-facing or hospitality roles

We're willing to train the right people. A positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and willingness to learn are just as important as previous experience.

Compensation

$15.00 per hour + tips for eligible assignments
