Job summary

Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, GA is seeking a Stocker to support the Masters Tournament by resupplying products to sales floor fixtures and displays. You will deliver products from the warehouse, unload items, and arrange them by style, size and color while following Club standards.

You will greet members and patrons and help them find the right shop area, maintaining a neat and welcoming floor. This role requires routine lifting up to 30 pounds and working in varying conditions,

Job description

The Stocker is primarily responsible for resupplying products as directed to the sales floor fixtures and displays, ensuring all service meets Club standards. Pay Rate: $12.00/hr

Essential Functions of the Job
  • Delivers products from warehouse or storeroom areas to display areas on the sales floor.
  • Unloads and delivers products, either by hand or the assistance of a hand truck, to the specified area.
  • Places products neatly in appropriate display bins, shelving or locations, noting specific styles, sizes and colors as directed by the Assistant Supervisor.
  • Directs patrons to other Golf Shop areas upon request.
  • Maintains organization, cleanliness and neatness of floor fixtures and displays.
  • Greets and directs all members, players, caddies and patrons in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintains the confidentiality of all Club business.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to upholding professional standards in the work environment.
  • Performs other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job.
  • Attends mandatory orientation and training sessions.
  • Required to work schedule as defined by department to include holidays, weekends and overtime as needed.
Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge/Attributes (required unless stated otherwise)
  • Ability to use box cutting blades in a safe manner, avoiding injury to self or products.
  • Displays interpersonal skills to work within a team environment.
  • Ability to work in conditions that may include heat, cold, rain or other adverse conditions.
  • Requires stooping, bending, lifting and transporting of objects up to 30 pounds.
  • Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
  • Displays integrity and sincerity interacting with others.
