Dorman Products is seeking a New Product Project Manager in Madison, IN to lead cross-functional teams through development, testing, and launches of ATV/UTV products. You will own project plans, partner with engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, and sales, and drive stage-gate reviews within the NPD process.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in product development or manufacturing, with a strong grasp of cost, risk, and timing impacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in engineering, business, project management, or operations.
• 3+ years of cross-functional project management experience in product development or manufacturing.
• Experience with production-related products, engineering changes, and lifecycle support.
• Familiarity with ATV/UTV, automotive, or powersports products preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Experience with ECR/ECN processes and product revisions.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and production constraints.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
• Experience coordinating prototype builds, validation, and production readiness.
• Strong understanding of cost, timing, and risk impacts related to product changes.
• Ability to monitor project health and clearly communicate status and blockers.

Responsabilités

• Lead cross functional teams in development, execution, and launch timelines of ATV/UTV product lines.
• Drive successful development and launch of new products in the aftermarket space.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans with milestones and risks.
• Coordinate prototype development, testing, validation, and production readiness.
• Prioritize projects based on objectives, demand, and market trends.
• Lead project meetings and communicate timelines, resources, and key decisions.
• Monitor launch timing, cycle times, and milestone achievement.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain for smooth transitions to production.
• Drive accountability and continuous improvement in NPD processes.
