Qualifications

• Active Texas law license in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of probate litigation experience.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Strong command of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Texas Rules of Evidence.
• Demonstrated ability to draft technically competent and persuasive litigation documents.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Ability to develop and execute sophisticated litigation strategies and resolve multi-issue disputes.

A confidential, full-service law firm is seeking an experienced associate attorney to join its probate and trust litigation practice in Houston. This role is focused on fiduciary litigation, complex probate disputes, and trust and estate controversies, often involving sophisticated issues and high net-worth estates and trusts. The position is best suited for an attorney who can run matters with increasing autonomy, take ownership of strategy, and maintain direct client relationships.

REQUIREMENTS
