Attorney - Senior Intellectual Property Litigation | Up to $280K Base | Patent Litigation | New York | Hybrid

I’m working with an established commercial law firm looking to add a senior attorney to its New York IP Litigation team. The practice handles high-stakes U.S. and international patent disputes across some of the most technically complex sectors in the market.

The Firm

• High-Stakes Patent Litigation: Handle disputes involving software, semiconductors, electronics, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and emerging technologies.
• Serious Courtroom Exposure: The team has experience across Markman hearings, IPR proceedings, preliminary injunctions, jury and bench trials and Federal Circuit appeals.
• International Client Base: Represent domestic and overseas businesses in significant U.S. IP disputes, including multinational corporations.
• Lean, Senior-Level Platform: Matters are intentionally staffed leanly, creating genuine scope to lead cases and remain close to clients and strategy.

The Role

• Lead Patent Matters: Independently manage significant patent infringement disputes and take responsibility for litigation strategy.
• Beyond Patent: Gain additional exposure to trademark and copyright infringement matters alongside the core patent practice.
• Full Litigation Lifecycle: Handle pleadings, discovery, fact and expert depositions, substantive motions, hearings and trial preparation.
• Technology-Driven Work: Particularly attractive for attorneys with exposure to telecommunications, AI, blockchain, fintech or other sophisticated technology sectors.

The Package

• Up to $280K Base + Performance Bonus
• Hybrid – Remote Monday & Friday
