North State Law seeks a motivated Non-Litigation Attorney/Attorney-Salesperson in Raleigh, NC. You will handle professional license defense and administrative law cases, focusing on client acquisition, retention, and case prep for non-litigation processes.

Experience is a plus, but drive and communication skills are emphasized to build trust with prospective clients and convert consultations into retained cases.

Qualifications

• J.D. required from an accredited law school.
• Active North Carolina Bar license required or in process.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn from senior attorneys and grow client base.
• Sales aptitude and client-acquisition mindset preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with basic software and cloud tools required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery calls with prospective clients to evaluate legal issues.
• Explain firm services and align client needs with solutions.
• Build trust to convert consultations into retained cases.
• Assist litigation attorneys in trial preparation and hearings as needed.
• Manage payments, billing arrangements, and retainers with clients.
• Collaborate with marketing to identify new client opportunities.
