Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution, a discreet California real estate and affordable housing firm, is seeking a mid level Transactional Real Estate Associate to join its Oakland office on a remote basis.

You will engage in complex affordable housing and real estate transactions with a strong nonprofit client mix, working closely with partners in a collaborative environment that blends sophisticated deal work with community impact.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of transactional real estate experience from a law firm or in house setting
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating real estate contracts beyond brokerage style work
• Comfort working across leases, deeds, partnership agreements, and real estate financing documents
• Experience or demonstrable interest in affordable housing and LIHTC; ability to be in Oakland Tuesdays and Thursdays
• Approximately 1,700 billable hours target
• Fully remote

Responsibilities

• Lead and support transactional real estate matters involving affordable housing projects and related commercial real estate
• Draft and negotiate leases, deeds, purchase and sale agreements, and other core real estate documents
• Structure and document partnership and entity arrangements for development and investment transactions
• Handle financing documents for complex capital stacks including affordable housing and LIHTC related financing
• Manage meaningful portions of transactions with direct client contact and regular partner collaboration

We Are Legal Revolution is working discreetly with a well established California real estate and affordable housing firm seeking a mid level Transactional Real Estate Associate to join its Oakland office on a remote basis.

This role offers direct involvement in complex affordable housing and real estate transactions with a strong public and nonprofit client mix, providing meaningful responsibility across the full deal lifecycle. You will work closely with experienced partners in a collaborative environment that combines sophisticated transactional work with visible community impact and a credible platform for long term advancement.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a mid level Transactional Real Estate Associate with:

• 4 to 7 years of transactional real estate experience from a law firm or in house setting
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating real estate contracts beyond brokerage style work
• Comfort working across leases, deeds, partnership agreements, and real estate financing documents
• Experience or demonstrable interest in affordable housing and LIHTC; ability to be in Oakland Tuesdays and Thursdays
• $149,500 to $188,760 base salary, depending on experience
• Approximately 1,700 billable hours target
• Fully remote
