Job summary

Taylor Root is seeking a skilled real estate transactions attorney to manage all aspects of complex real estate deals, from structuring and term sheet negotiation through diligence, title/survey review, and closings, with attention to post-closing agreements.

The ideal candidate brings strong research and writing abilities, a collaborative mindset, and experience in high-stakes real estate matters across acquisitions, financing, zoning, and government affairs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in real estate transactional matters.
• Ability to handle all stages of a transaction: structuring, term sheet negotiation, diligence.
• Experience with title and survey review, approvals, closings, and post-closing agreements.
• Strong research and writing skills; excellent academic record.
• Team player with a collaborative approach; highly motivated.
• Law firm experience preferred.
• Experience in acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing, zoning, land use, construction, tax appeals and condemnation, easements, subdivision and land use law, common interest communities, and local government matters is preferred.
• Experience in structuring and negotiating real estate financing, including real estate-secured loans, bridge and construction financings, joint ventures, and preferred equity arrangements is preferred.
