Responsibilities

• Manage plaintiff personal injury matters from intake through settlement or trial.
• Handle a caseload comprising approximately 70% pre-litigation and 30% litigation matters.
• Develop case strategy designed to maximise outcomes for clients.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations and trials.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
• Deliver clear and persuasive written and oral advocacy.
• Maintain regular client contact throughout the life of each case.
• Collaborate with case managers, paralegals and other attorneys to move cases forward efficiently.
• Handle matters involving automobile accidents, bodily injury, premises liability, slip-and-fall claims, nursing-home negligence and medical malpractice.
